Bar Bites at Morton’s & Win Their Cookbook Contest!
The well-known steakhouse chain, Morton’s The Steakhouse offers very affordable happy-hour treats at the bar in their 6 area restaurants, including two in Washington, DC. And you can win their new cookbook “Morton’s The Cookbook: 100 Steakhouse Recipes for Every Kitchen” (see details below).
After touring the Mall, take a short 5-block walk from the White House to enjoy what Morton’s offers — some great happy-hour snacks at the bar, most for just $5.00.
The Morton’s Bar Bites menu includes:
- Miniature Prime Beef Cheeseburger Trio
- Four Mini Filet Mignon Sandwiches with mustard mayonnaise sauce (a personal favorite)
- Crispy Chicken Goujonettes (strips)
- Crab, Spinach & Artichoke Dip
- Colossal Shrimp Cocktail
- Oysters on the Half Shell (where available)
- Blue Cheese French Fries
And if that’s not enough to fill you up, try their legendary Hot Chocolate Cake, a round mini-chocolate cake filled with hot chocolate sauce filling.
Morton’s is also hosting two cookbook release parties for their restaurant’s second cookbook, “Morton’s The Cookbook: 100 Steakhouse Recipes for Every Kitchen”. The book includes both classic and reinvented steakhouse recipes.Attendees receive a signed copy of the book by Morton’s co-founder and co-author Klaus Fritsch, as well as featured appetizers, wine and cocktails for $59.00 per person.
