REVIEW: Restaurante Alma
This new restaurant in town has been a delight for the nouvele cuisine searchers. The Chef, Henrique Sá Pessoa, is one of the Portuguese main promises, offering his interpretation to the Portuguese gastronomy.
Inside, the designer Catarina Ventura and the architect Eduardo Malhado created a special ambience. The famous cotton lamp contrasts with the white in a room where there’s significant details.
Their concept is to bring author cuisine to everyone, with decent prices. You can choose from two menus, Alma (€28) – starters, main and dessert- and Degustação (€39) – includes 5 dishes, or “a la carte”. Everything is absolutely fantastic.
