Warning: bad weather!
The second part of this week is going to be overshadowed by strong wind and heavy rains. Such a weather forecast is spreaded in the press here. Already tomorrow there reportedly will be cold winds (15-20 m/s) to lower the day temperature till 5-10 Celcium (it’s about 20 now, which is rather comfortable). All this will last till Sunday, experts say, and as I wrote earlier, St. Petersburg is not a city suited to walk comfortably in the cold weather. It’s nearness to extent water surface makes the local air rather humid. Nothing surprising for those living in sea towns, but a difficult thing to survive for you if you come from hinterland. The best advice here is not to forget your warm clothes and umbrellas and focus on museums and concerts instead of walking in the open air.
Ups, while I was writing this post, it’s started blowing. It seems we have a storm warning today. Be cautious!
