Jazz Alley, Seattle’s Best Jazz Club
Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley has long been Seattle’s premiere concert nightclub, focusing on diverse jazz performances that will appeal covering the spectrum of jazz. Whether you’re a long time fan of jazz, or just want to listen in occasionally, the performances at Jazz Alley will tickle your musical taste buds.
Consistently rated Seattle’s “Best Jazz Club” by local area magazines and newspapers, Jazz Alley originally opened in 1979 in the University District. It was originally set up as an intimate bistro and was an early hit with both college students and die-hard jazz fans.
In 1985, Jazz Alley moved to its downtown location, creating a larger, state of the art facility. It still tries, however, to maintain its original cozy bistro ambiance. Take a look around the room and you’ll likely see customers that have been coming to Jazz Alley since it first opened.
