Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort Show Appreciation for Teachers
This week, the first week in May, has been dedicated as National Teacher Appreciation Week. Hopefully, your little students told their teachers thank you for their hard work and dedication.
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort would like to show their
appreciation for all educators by offering a very special room rate for their next vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
Rates for teachers and all school support staff will start at just $129.00 per room, per night, through 12/24/09, based on availability. In addition, a second room can be rented for $99.00 per night, and if someone in the group is having a birthday during your stay, and you stay a minimum of 3 nights, you will get a night free, all subject to availability.
Located within Walt Disney World, in between Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests enjoy special Disney benefits, including and exclusive Extra Magic Hours in the theme parks and complimentary transportation to all the theme parks and attractions.
Disney’s Friendship Launch, a water taxi of sorts, cruises to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios from a dock at the resort. The Disney shuttle buses transport guests to all the other areas within Walt Disney World. Since both arrive at the hotel every 15-20 minutes it is very convenient to come and go as you please.
Our family has stayed many times at the Swan and Dolphin, and we love the many amenities this resort offers to its guests – great restaurants, five pools, even a white sand beach. We love to cruise between the parks and have even enjoyed a leisurely stroll at breakfast on the Boardwalk. As an instructional assistant at an elementary school, I am grateful for this amazing rate.
To make your reservations, call the hotel directly at 1-888-828-8850 and ask for rate code: TEACH. All teachers and school support staff must show proof of employment upon arrival.
It has been another long year of grading papers and tests, recess duty and cafeteria food — so teachers, when that last bell rings on that last day of school, jump up on top of your desk, throw your grade book in the air and shout “I’M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!”
