Mother’s Day Brunch in Broward and Palm Beach Counties

I was going to put Miami together with Palm Beach and Broward County for a complete Mother’s Day Brunch Round up, but there were so many tasty options available in Miami, that it just couldn’t be done. Here are your choices available as you move up the coast:

Broward

Brio (with locations in Palm Beach Gardens and Pembroke Pines) offers an a la carte brunch from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Enjoy Frittata Al Forno, Eggs Benedictano, Cinnamon Apple Pancakes, and more.

Farraddays’ Steakhouse Brunch at the Isle Casino offers a $39.95 Mother’s Day Brunch ($19.95 for children 12 and under). Omelets, a carving station, a seafood station and salad stations will feed the hungry guests. Be sure to stop by the dessert parlor for some yummy Bananas Foster.

Hyatt Regency Bonaventure is offering a brunch from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and for a cost of $28.00++ pp ($14 for kids 10 and under) guests will enjoy a selection of entrees made to order including lobster frittata and baby lamp chops and spring vegetables hash. In addition, there will be buffet set ups with salads, fruits, vegetables, rustic breads, Artisan cheeses, desserts and a child-friendly buffet. Don’t forget the Mimosa Bar and the Bloody Mary Bar.

Lola’s on Harrison (2032 Harrison Street in Hollywood) will be offering a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch created by Chef Michael Wagner. How does a Champagne Cocktail, Classic Eggs Benedict, Brioche French Toast topped with Bananas and Pecans, Grilled Ruby Red Trout accompanied by fresh strawberries, brunch potatoes and Applewood smoked bacon sound? All served family style. Brunch will be served from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and costs $34++ per adult ($14 for children, kids 10 and under are free). Reservations are required (954) 927-9851.

Shooter’s (located at 3033 NE 32nd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale) is offering a $28.00 Mother’s Day Brunch from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. The brunch will include an omelet station, a waffle station, a raw bar, salads, pasta, fresh fish, carving station, desserts and more.

Palm Beach:

Cafe Boulud will be serving at $65pp Mother’s Day Brunch ($35 for children 12 and under). Not sure what will be on the menu but you can’t go wrong with Chef Zach Bell in the kitchen. They will also present mom with a special treat — a copy of the book Cooking with Daniel Boulud.

Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa will host a Mother’s Day Brunch in the Sailfish Ballroom from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm for $39.95 per person ($19.95 for children under 12) Brunch will include a cold salad display, fruit display, imported and domestic cheeses, Italian antipasto, omelet and egg station, a pasta station, seafood station, carving board, desserts and more.

Pistache will offer a special prix-fixe menu. For $44++, guests can enjoy an appetizer, entree and dessert from the special menu and mom will receive a complimentary glass of champagne. Menu offerings include coconut curry mussels, Lobster Bisque, Soft Shell Crab Meuniere, Grilled Beef Tenderloin, Creme Brulee and more.

Taverna Opa (in CityPlace, 700 Rosemary Avenue) will host an enticing Mother’s Day Brunch for $24.95 per person, $14.95 for children 12 and under from 11:30 am – 3:30 pm. Guests will select one entree and will receive unlimited trips to the mezze bar. Entree choices include a Greek Omelet, Belgian waffles, Grilled Lemon Chicken, Pastisio (Greek Lasagna), Athenian Shrimp, Gyro Platter and more. The mezze bar includes hummus, tzatziki, spanakopita (spinach pie), tapenade, fresh fruit and a selection of Greek pastries. Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s will be available for $5.00. All mothers will receive a rose and guests will be entertained by festive Greek music, belly dancing and Zorba dancing. Call 561.820.0002 for reservations.

Trevini will be serving a complete 3-course Mother’s Day Dinner. Start your meal off with your choice of antipasti (soup, salad or eggplant parmesan), then select from the snapper filet, Veal Scaloppini or Herbed Crusted Lemon Sole and finish off with Mixed Berries with Cold Marsala Zabaglione.

Zed 451 in Boca Raton will be serving brunch from 11am – 3:00 pm. Cost is $35 per person, $22 for children 6-10 and free for those under 6. Chef Selections, Harvest Table and a Dessert Bar will all be available.
