How Do You Do? My Name is Sue!

No, not a line from a Johnny Cash song but the chance to get up close and personal with a T-Rex!  But you’ll need to get your skates on – Sue, star attraction role at the Auckland Museum comes to an end on April 26th.

A T.rex Named Sue

Seven T-Rex skeletons have been dug up since 1900 and Sue is by far and away the cream of the crop, being the largest, most complete and best preserved.

Sue is not the sort of lady you would invite over for dinner without checking out the dimensions of your dining room for at 12 metres long and 4 metres high she takes up a fair bit of room!

A full size cast of Sue’s skeleton is the centre piece of the Museum’s exhibit which also includes interactive and tactile displays that showcase the scientists’ reconstruction of Sue’s life.
