The Tourists Are Back!
The tourists are back! Small groups assembled on Dam Square this morning. This is such good news because it means: spring has arrived and soon it will be summer.
What do tourists do in Amsterdam?
They take photos of each other.
They buy fridge magnets.
Sometimes naughty ones.
They sit on the foot of the national Monument in Dam Square.
They rent bikes.
They eat friet (french fries) smothered in mayonaise.
They wander off to the Red Light District.
They roll a joint.
They buy marijuna seeds.
And get lost.
