Top Chefs Returning to New Orleans
The 2009 , also known as NOWFE, is returning yet again to grace us with libations on the luxury end and food nothing short of fabulous. In recognition of the fact that this season’s finale of the popular Bravo TV show was held here in New Orleans, the city is welcoming back some of the most original and celebrated “cheftestants.” Participants of this year’s grand event bring back fan favorites of the competition, like:
- Leah Cohen, the recently promoted Chef de Cuisine of Centro Vinoteca in City who became notorious for her beauty, talent, and semi-offscreen romance with the Top Chef winner …
- Hosea Rosenberg, season 5′s grand prize recipient and Sous Chef at Jax Fish House of Denver/Boulder, Colorado
- Jamie Lauren, the highly acclaimed Executive Chef at Absinthe in
- Jeff McInnis, the exceptionally well-traveled Executive Chef at DiLido at the Ritz-Carlton in
The celebrity chefs will appear alongside other prominent talents in the fine dining industry, with Hosea one of the headliners for , NOWFE’s newest event, slated for Thursday, May 21 at the Harrah’s New Orleans Theatre on 4 Canal Street, home of host ‘s Besh Steak. Seating will begin at 7:30 PM, and a full complement of high quality and rare wine will accompany each and every tantalizing course.
Is this notice a little far in advance? Well, yes, but it’s important to mark your calendars and purchase your $150 tickets from Ticketmaster right now, since this dinner will book up remarkably quickly and seats will be gone before you have a chance to blink an eye.
