An Irish Evening in Munich
This Tuesday, the Tir na nOg Dance Academy will be hosting a night of Irish music, storytelling and dance. Starting at 8pm at the Ars Musica im Stemmerhof, you can enjoy good beer, music and people. To have an Irish Dance school in Germany sounds a bit interesting, doesn’t it? Well, let me tell you, they’re awesome! My friend Shane McAvinchey is an awesome dancer and teacher from Nenagh in Co. Tippery, Ireland. He is one of the three dance teachers at the Tir na nOg Dance Academy, so please come out and support this great school. Entrance is €12, which , of course, benefits the school, but it will be €12 well spent!
Bring a few friends and explore your inner Irishness, as these benefits turn out to be more than just a show as the audience usually becomes somewhat involved whether with song learning or dance attempts! Trust me, after a few beers, you’ll be more than willing to try out a few dance steps from these masters.
