Qbic Hotels
I had a chance while at ifitt Enter 2009 in Amsterdam to have a look at the first of three planned Qbic hotel’s and I was very impressed. I was at a nearby Novotel which was a standard Novotel, clean, efficient all at a good rate but the Qbic which is situated in the WTC building it is a very modern boutique type hotel with a very hip look.
A fully self service lobby with espresso and required food machines to New York boutique hotel style rooms (but larger). Very cool furnishings and up to date technology, flat screen tv, free wireless everywhere and fantastic rates starting at 69 euros a night. They have two new locations opening in Europe, one in Antwerp and one in Maastricht.
If you like the more modern boutique hotels that have spread accross North America then the Qbic hotels are a good choice if you are not too concerned about the self-serve environment.
