Franz Ferdinand + Munich = Too Much Fun

It’s true! This coming Thursday, March 26th 2009, Franz Ferdinand will be playing at the TonHalle in Munich! You can find the TonHalle at the Ostbahnhof S or U-Bahn stop. Tickets are on sale for about 30€, which you can buy at the München Ticket website. Franz Ferdinand, named after the infamously assasinated Archduke of Austria, was formed in 2002 and has since become famous for songs such as “Take me Out”. Their new record, “Tonight” was released in January of 2009, when fans were just itching to hear something new from the Scottish foursome. So, hop on the S-Bahn and head over to the TonHalle for a night filled with great tunes, new and old as well as a great opportunity to mix with the locals. TonHalle also has a great bar, which serves everything from shirly temples to top shelf alcohol.

Afterwards, considering that the TonHalle is in super close proximity to Kult Fabrik, which is a collection of about 18 clubs, you can end your night at a bar or nightclub for some more fun. See some of my earlier posts to learn more about this fantastic collection of clubs ranging in music styles, atmosphere and drink specials.
