San Antonio on PlanetEye
Welcome to the San Antonio blog at PlanetEye. The Alamo City is a popular tourist destination that is enjoyed by adults and kids of all ages. If you are visiting San Antonio for the first time, there are a variety of must-see attractions, such as the River Walk, The Alamo and the Tower of the Americas.
Additionally, San Antonio is home to an array of major festivals including Fiesta San Antonio, an 11-day, city-wide celebration that takes place each spring. Fiesta San Antonio features over 100 official events, each sponsored by a local nonprofit or military organization. This year, Fiesta kicks off on April 16, 2009.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be talking a lot about Fiesta San Antonio, as it’s one of the biggest and best festivals in the country.
A little about me … My name is Kori Ellis. I live in San Antonio with my husband and two labradors. I’m a freelance writer, editor and blogger. I have written about the city of San Antonio and other travel topics for a variety of publications and websites, including b5media.com and About.com. Currently, I write about travel at Blisstree.com
At PlanetEye, I hope to provide a wealth of information on San Antonio’s best landmarks, attractions, restaurants and sights, from an insider’s perspective.
If you have any questions about the city, leave a comment and let me know!
