If you just want to have a beer in great atmosphere in the center of the city just next to Skadarska Street, you should definitely visit unique Belgrade pub “Optimist”. This place is very similar to the Prague pubs. Besides the outlook and atmosphere, this comparison comes from the fact that you can have cheap and high quality beer.

This place is ideal if you want to start the night with your male friends, enjoy in great music, original pub feeling, and regain optimism in these a gloomy days.  This place is located just few minutes from Republican square and 50 meters from Belgrade Bohemian quarter Skadarska.  The pub is maybe not the best to meet new people but if you already have friends with you and you just want to have secure and nice place to share your experiences this is probably the best place in the center.

Optimist pub has long tradition and own mini brewery and all of this coupled with efficient service guarantees great fun.  If you get hungry, just few meters from the place there is the best pizza place in the city – Orao where you can recharge your batteries before the next round.
