If you are looking for a restaurant in the center of the city with excellent food, professional service, and the best cigars in the city – Monte Cristo is probably the best place you can choose. The restaurant is located just next Belgrade Botanical garden. This is very modern place with lots of tables although from the street this place looks much smaller than it actually is.

The furniture is very comfortable and the whole outlook is charming and relaxing. Nevertheless, the best thing about this restaurant is definitely food. The menu offers variety of meals with very interesting and inspiring names and it includes food for anyone’s taste. The cuisine is truly international and everything that I tried was delicious and tasty. In addition, the restaurant can adjust the meal to your taste and can combine meals from the already very wide choice on restaurant menu. The best thing I have tried was file Marengo with gorgonzola cheese. The place is also ideal for breakfast as you can have a decent breakfast for approximately 4 euro.  If you want to order salad I recommend you to try chef’s salad as it is really great in this place.

 If you are ordering desserts I have to warn you that the size of desert in this place is sufficient for two persons and if you like cakes definitely try it here I promise you will not regret it. I have tried desert Monte Cristo Cube and had hard time finishing it but it was very good chocolate cake with raspberry syrup.

One great thing about this place is the choice of wines. However the price of wines starts from 20 euro and ends somewhere at 500 so be sure to check the wine list before you order it.

The biggest problem in this place is as always the parking space. If you are coming by car I recommend you to leave it on paid parking lot that is located about 200 meters from the place.

One specialty of this place are variety of Cuban cigars the last thing I had after great meal. The restaurant is organized in four separate parts and even if you want to have only coffee this place is ideal since one part is especially dedicated to this purpose. In addition to this, the offer of coffees on the menu is spectacular and it took me long time to decide which one to choose.

This is one of the rare restaurants in Belgrade where I really enjoyed everything and if you want to relax after intensive working day stop by the place and see if for yourself
