March Roared In Like a (Cold) Lion in the South
I believe there’s an old wives tales that goes along the lines, “if it’s above 70 degrees in the winter, it will snow two weeks later.”
Well, there just might be something to it.
Yes, many places in the South got snow and a lot of it. From Rogers, Ark., to Jackson, Miss., to Memphis, Tenn., to Birmingham, Ala., to Atlanta, Ga.,
the deep south was covered in a blanket of white. The same storm is heading up the East Coast today and might bring some snow to North Carolina, Virginia and other places.
But don’t worry, because the area will be experiencing springtime weather by this weekend!
The South, gotta to love it, especially during wacky weather months of March and April.
