It’s Girl Scout Cookie Time!
Oh sure, the annual Girl Scout cookie sale helps your women develop confidence, learn leadership skills, practice money management, and work in teams to reach goals.
Those are great, wonderful things. But when you plunk down your $4 for a box, I bet those things don’t ever cross your mind. It’s all about the cookies, man!
The Girl Scouts of Western Washington are offering the following varieties of cookies for sale this year:
- Lemon Chalet Cremes
- Trefoil
- Do-Si-Dos
- Samoas
- Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
- Dulce de Leche (NEW)
- Tagalogs
- Thin Mints
I’m personally a fan of the Samoas (in photo).
But hey! It’s all about help young women learn life skills, and the cookies are just a bonus thrown in.
To find cookies, check on sales tables at local supermarkets and stores, check with the neighbor kids, or the Girl Scout website. The sale runs February 27th – March 15th, 2009.
