Sneak Preview at Cinema München

If you’re looking for something a bit low key, yet super fun and Münchener-ish, head over to Cinema München tomorrow for the 11.15pm show. Every Friday, Cinema München, the movie theater for English langugage movies, has a Sneak Preview night where a film that has not yet been released is pre-viewed. You can buy tickets ahead of time by visiting the box office, which I would highly suggest as Sneak Preview nights sell out quickly. You have the option of choosing where you would like to sit. The balcony offers a pretty good view as do the seats on the main floor, all for €5,50. You should also keep your ticket stub as they collect them in paper cups after the viewing. The theater reviews the film by asking you to put your ticket stub in the cup with either a smiley face, expressionless face, or sad face.

So, you show up about 30 minutes before the movie starts, sit around, get some popcorn, ice cream and drinks, you can even grab a beer! Then, when showtime begins, sit back and get ready for a surprise. If you’re looking for a late night dinner, like around 8pm, try the little Italian restaurant across the street. They have pretty good pastas and pizzas.

By train, you can take the U1 to Stiglmeierplatz.

Enjoy!
