Garlic Fest Presents the Great American “Smooch” Out
How does a handful of garlic followed by a make out session sound? Garlic and kisses just don’t seem to coincide, but what happens when Garlic Fest lands on Valentine’s Day Weekend? And what happens when the people behind Garlic Fest have this great idea to break some records on Valentine’s Day? Will you be there to participate?
If you must, here’s the plan – gather at Garlic Fest on Saturday, February 14th (at 8:10 pm sharp) and when everyone has counted to 3, you know it, indulge in that garlic breath. At least you’ll be making history.
Garlic Fest is more than just about kissing with garlic breath. Here’s some info about the weekend.
Garlic Fest will take place this upcoming weekend from February 13th – 15th in Delray Beach on the historic Old School Square. Tickets are $12 on Friday and Saturday and free on Sunday. Bands to perform include: Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Republik, Los Lonely Boys and more. In addition to great music, there will be a gourmet alley set up with fabulous food items using plenty of garlic. Local restaurants will be participating in the Pizza Wars, and the public will get to decide on the winner. Don’t miss out on the Garlic Chef Competition where local chefs will compete against one another. Chef Michael Lamberson (McCormick and Schmick’s), Alain Bedard (Italian Rose), Adam Gottlieb (The Seagate Beach Club), Chef Michael Murgio (Little Moir’s Food Shack) and last year’s winner Andy Trousdae (Le Bistro) will all compete for the title of Garlic Chef. Check out the website for more information.
