Valentine’s Day in Munich: Dinner
Many restaurants are expecting boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands and wives to come and take pleasure in a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. Munich opens its doors to you, no matter what the budget. The Seehaus in the English Gardens will be serving a special Valentine’s Day 5-course menu for 43€ per person. The Seehaus’ Restaurant and Pavilion is famous in Munich, and is frequented by tourists and locals alike. Of course, reservations must be made: 089 381 61 30
For something extra special, try getting reservations at the restaurant in the Olympic tower. This 181 meter high tower provides gorgeous, panoramic views of the city as well as the Alps. Well-known for its cuisine, the Olympic tower would be a fabulous venue for a special night.
If you’re looking for something that is not quite as expensive, Munich offers plenty of options. I would stop by one of the many restaurants on Leopoldstraße. Try Gast which is at the Rosenheimerplatz stop on the S-bahn, or a cheaper version of Gast, which is Vapianos at Odeonsplatz. Both have a smiliar, modern feel, great cocktails and even better food. Both restaurants serve a variety of pastas, pizzas, salads and deserts, yet all of the food served is delicious.
