The Dancing Inmates are back with “My Sharona”
Who says correctional inmates and prisoners can’t have fun?
The now-famous dancing inmates of a Cebu Correctional Facility has taken YouTube by storm. The maximum-security prison in Cebu City, Philippines has rehabilitated its toughened prisoners with a crazy exercise routine – the 1500 prisoners get to dance to choreographed music!
Their most famous dance routine – Thriller – already has been viewed more than 20 million times on YouTube, and they are so well-known that the governor of Cebu has allowed a “performance” every month inside the facility. On special occasion the inmates got to perform outside the prison walls and given PHP 1000.00 (USD 21.00) for good behavior.
Be totally entertained, and you are now free to move about and dance with them!
My Sharona – Funny bloopers are a click away
Now the females joined the throng in this version of “My Sharona”.
The dancing inmates are having so much fun, that I totally think they don’t mind being in prison these days! But better this than brawls and troubles, right?
