Everything Tastes Better with Chocolate
Chocolate biscotti, chocolate covered strawberries, frozen chocolate-covered cappucino crunch cake, need I go on? When the flavors of rich chocolate enter the picture, life just gets better and such is the case this weekend.
At Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens, the world of tropical plants will be transformed into an international chocolate festival this weekend. Whether you want to taste or feel the richness, you will have the opportunity to indulge in mind, body and soul. The festival takes place this weekend Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. The cost is free to members of Fairchild members and children 5 and under, $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens 65 and over and $10 for children 10-17.
There are many activities for you to take part in including:
- Chocolate tasting
- Lectures
- Plant Sales
- Chocolate spa treatments
- Chocolate cake contests
- Listening to music from chocolate lands
- Book Signings
- Be sure to stop by to say hello to some of your favorite chefs such as Chef Allen Susser from Chef Allen’s, Chef Andrea Randazzo from Talula and Chef Rob Sobowski from Sensational Chocolates.
