Oktoberfest Tents– So many to choose from!

So now that the first week of Oktoberfest is officially over, we are embarking onto our second week. I personally went out to the Oktoberfest and scouted out these tents so that I would be knowledgeable enough to give you a brief run down on what these tents are all about! Below you can find information on the most popular Oktoberfest tents and how to ensure that you are able to enjoy them!

The Schottenhammel is one of my favorite tents and where the party animals should scout out for. With traditional live music all day, it winds down the evening with a great assortment of rock classics and new favorites!

The Hippodrum tent is a favorited amongst the hip and trendy crowd. Sure to be a good time for all! Some celebrities are known to frequent this tent. So go on and rub shoulders with the high and mighty.

The Hacker Festzelt swings into high gear at 5.30pm with rock and roll favorites. Definitely a top choice for you partiers and dancers out there!

The Hofbräu Festzelt is a favorite amongst Americans and other native English speakers due to the familiarity that comes with the name from the infamous Hofbräuhaus. Great beer and great tunes await!

Of course, these are only my top recommendations, but I suggest that you go out there on your own and make up your own mind! Note that there is also outdoor seating for all of the tents at the Fest

Tip of the Year:

GET THERE EARLY!!! I would highly suggest lining up in front of a tent at 7-8am on weekends and Fridays, as after that….well, good luck getting in! And if you do get in, fantastic! But good luck getting a seat! Just be prepared to wait in line for quite a while if you show up later. Unfortunately the weather isn’t nice enough to comfortably sit outside. But, feel more than welcomed to do so as after a beer you’ll feel much warmer, I’m sure!

During the week, it of course is less crowded, but then that means you should get there before noon!
